PHOTOS: 2016 Paragliding festival kicks off in grand style

The 2016 edition of the Paragliding festival staged on the Odweanoma Mountain in Kwahu in the Eastern Region has kicked off in grand style.

The event which was held at the auspices of the Tourism aims at promoting paragliding as a sport in Ghana.

Several tourists and Ghanaians alike came to partake inthe festival which is in its 11^th year.

The paragliding festival commenced in 2005 after then Tourism Minister, the late Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey and his then deputy, the *** took a decision to introduce the sports as part of the annual Easter celebrations.

Since then, the event has become a major part of the celebration marking the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Okyeame Kwame has worked with many great musicians in and outside the country including Sarkodie and his younger brother, Flowking Stone.

Not long ago, Okyeame Kwame featured Flowking Stone on “Ksi Boys” track, which was released to resurrect the dying Kumasi music industry.

Okyeame Kwame many years ago worked with Sarkodie to release a short piece for ace broadcaster Kwasi Kyei Darkwah aka KKD. The Rap Dacta on Easter Friday’s edition of TV3’s New Day morning show revealed that Flowking Stone has featured him on his upcoming album. The “Woso” rapper added that he is currently working with Sarkodie on a track, which will be released soon, but to collaborate with both artistes on same song, he has to hit the rap gym for many months.

Okyeame Kwame on the show answering when he was going to work with Sarkodie and Flowking Stone on same song said that “hey I don’t want trouble”

“I HAVE DONE A NEW COLLABORATION WITH STONE ON HIS NEW UPCOMING ALBUM AND I’M DOING ONE WITH SARK RIGHT NOW BUT FOR BOTH ARTISTES TOGETHER, I HAVE TO HIT THE RAP GYM”.

When Bridgette Otoo, host of the further quizzed him if he is cool with Sarkodie, BRA Kwame replied that “definitely”.

Garry Shandling"s Doctor Refuses To Sign Death Certificate - Coroner Launches Investigation

Garry Shandling has been dead for nearly 48 hours, but his death certificate has not been signed, because we’ve learned his doctor refuses to do so.

Our sources say Garry’s primary physician has repeatedly refused to sign because he has no idea how or why his patient died. The doctor says he hadn’t seen Shandling in more than a year and as far as he knew Garry was in good heath.

The doctor’s refusal to sign triggered an official death investigation by the L.A. County Coroner, who will now officially determine cause of death.

We’re told the coroner’s investigators have already taken blood work from the ER where Shandling was pronounced dead. The investigators have also subpoenaed records from the doctor.
